Dear Pope Francis CES parents and students,
It’s time to start our annual FUNDRAISER. We are very fortunate to have a school community that supports our fundraising efforts. Each year our fundraising efforts go to support many initiatives that include, Classroom Technology, school trips, special presentations and events and much more. Your support directly helps every student in the school.
Here at Pope Francis Catholic Elementary School, we wanted to make our land acknowledgement more personal, heartfelt, and historically accurate.
Last year a small group of our Grade 8’s, along with Mr. Belvedere and Ms. Marrone, set out to write a land acknowledgement that is specific for the land we are currently learning and living on.
