Forty-four years ago, Terry Fox set out on a journey to bring an end to cancer. His courage and determination inspired our nation. In celebration of the 44th anniversary of Terry’s “#NOMATTERWHAT”, Pope Francis CES will be hosting a Terry Fox Walk on Monday September 23rd. Classroom teachers will lead their students on a walk around school grounds in support of Terry’s dream. Students are encouraged to wear red and white that day, and to dress appropriately for the event, i.e., running shoes, comfortable clothing, hats if it is sunny, etc.
