Remembrance Day at Pope Francis

On Remembrance Day, November 11th,  a moving Liturgy of the Word was led and organized by our Grade 7/8 students and their teacher, Ms. Larson.  The students of Pope Francis honoured the contribution and sacrifice of generations of Canadian soldiers to our country, including their peacekeeping efforts all over the world.

Our Kindergarten students and the members of our Performance Club each contributed a song which contributed greatly to our ceremony.  All of our classes also assisted with decorations, both in our gymnasium and in the halls of the school.  Perhaps most importantly, our Patron, Pope Francis, would be proud of the powerful message of peace in our world, our school, our homes, and our hearts which was delivered during the liturgy.

We would also like to thank the Parents, Guardians, and other family members for their support of our students.

Finally, we extend our gratitude to our Grade 7/8 students for their leadership, on this occasion and every day!
