Pope Francis Catholic Elementary School is a very popular school in the Kleinburg area. We are grateful that so many families want to join this wonderful school community.
Unfortunately, kindergarten enrollment requests for Pope Francis far exceed the number of spaces available at the school. In an effort to be as fair as possible, the York Catholic District School Board has a lottery system for new junior kindergarten registrations at Pope Francis CES.
To take part in the Pope Francis CES junior kindergarten registration lottery for 2023-24 school year, your child(ren) must be registered by March 1, 2023. You can register here.
Students who are returning to Pope Francis do not need to re-register. The lottery is just for new junior kindergarten registrations.
All eligible students will be accepted into a York Catholic District School Board junior kindergarten class, but students in the Pope Francis CES area who are not selected in the lottery will be bused to St. Stephen CES.
