Congratulations to our Girls’ Intermediate Basketball Team who recently competed at St. Anne’s School at their Area Tournament and became our school’s first ever champions! Pope Francis was grouped with 4 other schools: Corpus Christi (28-8), St. Anne (21-10), St. Mary Immaculate (17-16), and Father John Kelly (18-8). Our girls were undefeated! They next will compete at a board-level tournament on March 29th. Good luck, ladies! Thank you to our amazing girls and their dedicated coaches, Ms. Matulic, and Mr. Sta. Maria, a parent volunteer!
Congratulations, too, to our Boys’ Team who also recently competed at their Area Tournament. The boys competed hard and did themselves and our school proud! Thank you for being great ambassadors for our school!
